It's second only to Va Tech. :)

 

Side note, I was going to try and walk on at Va Tech back in the day. I probably would be a bigger TT fan if I did.

 

That's how I know half the guys I know. I tried out freshman year for RB and S. They had Brandon Ore and Darren Evans at RB, and Aaron Rouse & Kam Chancellor at Rover. I had no chance.

 

So I stuck to engineering and kept up with the friends I made by working with the helmet testing/concussion lab.

In major division 1 cfb - their schedules are really like a FT job. Zero free time, aggressive practice and meeting schedules. But many have been able to obtain degrees in a number of disciplines while doing this, and no reason he can't do the same. It's certainly not easy but his statement have many layers to them - a lot of truth but ultimately it can be overcome.
