Cherrybone Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I'm wondering what are some of the sacrifices people make to watch a Bills game? As for me, my job pays double on Sundays. It's hard to work Sundays because of seniority. However during football season it's available because the senior guys don't want to miss football either. So for me I'm forced to choose between making double pay or watch the Bills. Of course I always end up choosing the Bills. Being a Bills fan is painful but for some strange reason I keep setting myself up for more. I even choose them over money.
Cherrybone Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 I gave up my sanity. Does that count? Lol. Because it's a good one it definitely count.
Captain Murica Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Uhm, I've made it known with any GF's I've had in the past that Sundays are for the Bills and the rest of the time I'm all yours unless the Mets are on then that's 3 hours for them..
4_kidd_4 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I sacrifice watching a professional level franchise and go to Bills games instead.
r00tabaga Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I sacrifice watching a professional level franchise and go to Bills games instead. Was this an attempt at being clever? Seems a little forced. The guy with the playoff joke...he nailed it.
K D Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I gave up my religion. Used to go to Sunday service but too hard to now. I should probably go on Saturdays instead. Bills need all the prayers they can get
BringBackFergy Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Your priorities are all out of whack. It should be: crack cocaine, gambling, whores and Bills...not necessarily in that order.
Buffalo716 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Your priorities are all out of whack. It should be: crack cocaine, gambling, whores and Bills...not necessarily in that order. But I lost all my crack gambling! So the whores left me!!
Kirby Jackson Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I've given up my Sundays and feeling well on a Monday. I drink if they win and drink if they lose.

Augie Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I've given up my Sundays and feeling well on a Monday. I drink if they win and drink if they lose. I'm sure a lot of livers here look forward to the bye week.
BadLandsMeanie Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I tried sacrificing a goat once, but they still lost!
Rockpile233 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 When I lived in NYC for a few years, I kept my season tickets and drove back for every home game.
mead107 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Very seldom miss games. Missed the opener 2 years in a row when second grand daughter was born. Could not miss first Birthday. Watch them on tv or listen when coming back from granddaughters. When not on TV, we go out to watch. When they play a night game I watch on phone before I retired.
Steve O Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I give up at least 8 days of vacation a year, more when we host Monday or Thursday nite games. Just too damn old to fake it through Mondays after home games at the office.
145B4IDIE Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Augie... I was going to say liver ... and fashion. damn denim!
