Yikes on Peterman!

@MatthewFairburn

Bills OC Rick Dennison said Nathan Peterman's progression reminds him of T.J. Yates' progression when he was a rookie.

@ChrisBrownBills

Dennison: in stressing w/Tyrod to get ball out he believes anticipatory thrower can be developed. Not something a QB has or not. #Bills

@JonScottTV

"I think he's ironing some things out." - Dennison in Jonathan Williams. Seeing more consistency. #BillsCamp

@JoeBuscaglia

The #Bills are on the field for their 10th practice of training camp. Watch it live here: https://www.facebook.com/ByJoeBuscaglia/videos/1067468750056036/

Both Sammy Watkins and Cordy Glenn are practicing today.

RICK DENNISON: "WE'RE CATCHING ON" (10:16)

Bills' OC Rick Dennison talks about the progression of the offense so far, what he expects to see from them in the first preseason, pros and cons of shared practices and more.

JONATHAN WILLIAMS IMPROVES CONSISTENCY

Jonathan Williams had some parts of his game that needed refining in the spring. Through the first 10 days of camp the running back's game has been much more consistent.

you know what, I'll take that from a 5th round pick. I think he can be more, but getting a TJ Yates is not bad at all.

@SalSports

Assuming Shaq Lawson is limited today again. He's dressed, but Eddie Yarbrough once again starting at DE. Ryan Davis out.

@MatthewFairburn

Bills WR Jeremy Butler walking off the field with a trainer.

@lilboon

Will add this: both McCoy and Williams are VERY good at the cutback in running game. Hard to defend. #Bills

@Nick_Wojton

Nate Peterman put perfect over the shoulder passes to Dez Lewis1v1 against Leonard Johnson, same w/ Ross vs Wright #Bills

Vallejo now hurt. Hand wrapped and going off field w/ trainers. Hope no fracture, because he has been having a good camp.

26CornerBlitz....you're a pretty awesome dude with all these updates.

If we ever meet in person, I buy you a few beers....or a female escort as long as it's the same price. I'd probably go with the beers!

Seriously dude...thank you for these updates!

Thanks brother! Go Bills! :beer:

@SalSports

I think Zay Jones ate his Wheaties this morning or something. He is basically sprinting from drill to drill everywhere he goes.

Dawkins/Ducasse getting a little work on the right side of OL with first team.

Nathan Peterman just sailed one over the middle that was intercepted. Got an earful from OC Rick Dennison as he walked back.

@ChrisBrownBills

Looks like a full workload for Watkins today. Positive sign. #Bills

#BillsCamp Hodges at middle LB with 2nd team again. Looks like he's leaped Ragland on depth chart

Full work load for Watkins is absolutely a positive. However, nothing wrong with letting him ease his was through the pre season.

We know what the kid can do when healthy.

@Cover_1_

Here come the Hodges over Ragland takes. Hodges is going to play a major role everywhere on D, good to cross train him at all LB positions.

To be fair, I think a lot of us were expecting Rags to be the favorite for the starting role...

Too much too soon IMO considering the recovery from ACL surgery and being newly exposed to playing MLB in a 4-3 defense. Give it some time.

Ragland might be the biggest unknown on the entire roster. Drafted by a different regime to play a different position, with question marks about coverage ability, and then injured to boot so there's no tape of him in an NFL game.

It's probably a stretch to say I "feel bad" for the guy, but I certainly empathize with what he's going through. I hope he is regaining his confidence and has skills that can translate to McD's defense.
