Gugny Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 (edited) Before yesterday, I'd never heard of Mudcrutch. They were Petty's band before he and a few guys split in 1975 to form the Heartbreakers. They got back together in 2007 and made a couple albums. Heard a tune on the radio and loved it. I absolutely love the band name, too. Â Edited October 8, 2017 by Gugny 1 Quote

DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 (edited) Remembering Lynyrd Skynyrd's Deadly 1977 Plane Crash 40 years later. Â http://www.rollingstone.com/music/features/remembering-lynyrd-skynyrds-plane-crash-ronnie-van-zant-w509500 Â Guitarist Allen Collins was equally apprehensive. "He didn't want to get on that plane," Gary Rossington told the Orlando Sentinel in 1988. "He said, 'I'm not gonna get on it because it's not right.'" But the band's front man remained almost eerily calm. "Ronnie said, 'Hey, if the Lord wants you to die on this plane, when it's your time, it's your time. Let's go, man. We've got a gig to do,'" remembers Rossington. Â Edited October 20, 2017 by DaBillsFanSince1973 1 Quote
