He's such a great songwriter. I'm glad he got his life straight but damn, can you imagine Drive By Truckers if he was able to control his addictions????? Day-um The new album is very solid - been listening to it quite a bit. This is definitely high on my list of things I'll listen to when I want to listen to something that isn't as heavy as I normally listen to. If you haven't seen it yet check out the record release concert he played with his wife in Nashville last week - he played the entire album and told some good stories - you can find it on Youtube. I must say, I do prefer the songs when he has Amanda playing fiddle - too bad the album version has so much less of that. 1 Quote

Sanctuary came back in 2017 with a new album that was pretty good but sadly Warrel died in December 2017 and that was it. At least we have some really cool old stuff to listen to and just shake your head.... I liked Nevermore. What say you of other unappreciated octave gods of metal like Matt Barlow or John Arch? (Apologies for the volume. If this is what happens when I miss 10 pages of music thread, I need to chill) Edited May 24, 2020 by Ralonzo Do it live! Quote

That track is every bit the caliber of a Yellow Ledbetter was but nobody "discovered" it on a B side and started playing it. Ned Flanders Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 These guys just look like they're having a good time and one of the best isolation gigs I've seen so far Quote
