Ranking Roger obit in the paper today, founder of (English) Beat and General Public, both a big help for later high school and undergrad.

liner notes for the 1998 reissue said this of the song: "Dias the Bebopper meets Baxter the skunk beneath the Bo Tree in this altered blues

 

it was a good way to start off the second album...
