But it was good enough to make me want to here more from them. Including the following with the great line "She looks as lovely as she's every gonna get!". Ouch. Quote
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Big hair bands of the 80’s...crossover rock like “Stryper” had some skills here too! The “yellow and black attack” and “to hell with the devil” albums in particular I can recommend from this era. Quote

row_33 Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 (edited) Side topic of bands that split up acrimoniously just before they hit with a surprise single or album. This ska masterpiece rose to #1 at a perfect time in the 80s. Shake hands and get back out on the road and Top of the Pops... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXP5psBaOO8 Edited March 10, 2019 by row_33 1 Quote

At the time there were a ton of similar bands, except most weren't doing the Christian Rock thing. I liked this song: Another obscure band at the time was Icon. At the time every band needed the intro solo, none of whch lived up to Eddie Van Halen's Eruption. Good times. 1 Quote
Mark80 Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 (edited) Hozier show last night at Shea's was tremendous. Fantastic voice. They finished with this one, my personal favorite of his. Edited March 11, 2019 by Mark80 Quote
