I'm in summer chill mode, not listening to the crunchy stuff as much. Hope these aren't repeats:

Two from Fountains of Wayne:

And the elderly Stones making it look effortless:

a lot of this content is reminiscing of bands and acts I saw back in the day. This was one such guy. Very talented but socially awkward guy. He was miffed that the crowd seeing him perform at red rocks that day didn't know the words to sing along to one of his songs.  Hey you're not Mick Jagger pal. lol But a great musician nonetheleess. david bromberg

@SinceThe70s greetings mate. As is obvious especially a guy like you who has followed this thread for years also that some GREAT stuff has been posted. As I go backwards to archive I see a lot of stuff is now disallowed by YouTube. BOOOOOO. So as I edit my own content I'm on a goal of finding stuff that is the best of the best and posting it again for newbies. Me posting ad nauseum lately I hope it isn't too irritating. Once my goal is finished I can then just listen to my hearts content all my besties in music and not hog the thread. so again permiso. I don't think repeats are bad either actually Please post! any and all of it. Peace brother 🙂 muppy. a lot of this content is reminiscing of bands and acts I saw back in the day. I love David Bromberg. IMHO his best song is the "Bullfrog Blues", a very detailed funny story about a relationship (not the Canned Heat/Rory Gallagher song). You might need some patience to go through the whole 16 minutes.

@muppy Greetings right back at ya! Appreciate all your posts. I love that this thread has gone on for 7 years and somehow avoided negativity. I have no doubt some folks think that some songs I post are utter crap - and tbh I feel that way about some songs that others post. But the toxicity of 'my opinion is sacrosanct' is absent in this thread. Good times.

Here's another song in my 'chill' summer playlist that has the distinction of being liked by wifey AND references the Sex Pistols.

I was able to see him perform a few times live. He was always very entertaining. That attitude he copped at red rocks that day was sincere. I was just surprised it was awkward. hooters

The bill that day was the following two acts with McGwynn Clark and Hillman the headliner member of the Byrds and hooters

bromberg byrds mcguinn clark hillman
