Here's the same song back in 1997 on their Relapse Tour. I saw them for the first time a week after this show and it was MAGICAL.

A cool band out of san francisco Cali I really dig H L & News, going back to when they first hit the scene back in the early '80's. I noticed he really hit the higher note when he said "buffalo" in that. many great ones, this one is a favorite of mine.

Toomstone.Part.Duex
Don't know if this was shared yet. Mike Portnoy just posted about this band saying if you like old school Rush you'd love these guys. And it's a TWO piece band! 1

First time listen 🙂 @Draconator what do you think? The Rush influence is strong with this one. The very ending of the song is the exact ending of Xanadu. What I find most impressive, is the guitarist/keyboardist and his balancing act with the foot pedals. I play foot pedals and bass on a couple of songs in my band, and you're literally playing 2 instruments at once while balancing on one leg. To do what he's doing, hitting guitar/bass effects with one foot, and playing bass notes on the Moog foot pedals with the other foot, takes an insane amount of coordination. Crown Lands is really good!

Crown Lands is really good! If you listen to a few of their songs you can hear Rush. There's one that sounds like the beginning of Xanadu. This song has a killer groove to it. sounds like Rush meets Greta Van Fleet..
