T&C Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 A psych/concept album... predates Tommy. Rare to ever find on original vinyl... it is really a gem in the rock prog psych world imo. 1 Quote
damj Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 Caught these guys (Cerny Brothers) earlier this year, never heard them before. I love this song 2 Quote
DrW Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 One of my favorite bands of the 1990s. For me, the highlight is the interplay between both vocalists - the more aggressive sound of lead singer Miki Berenyi and the ethereal back-ups of Emma Anderson. 2 1 Quote

I had "rocks" on vinyl but my first Aerosmith album I bought at grants for I believe about 4 bucks was "toys in the attic" which is my favorite album from them. "rocks" was their last good album in my opinion. Early Aerosmith was so damn good. For me the line was drawn at 'Draw The Line'. Great song, meh album imo. Rocks is my fave by far. The 'Live Bootleg' album was a good listen too - always loved Tyler's intro to Toys "It's about time..." Quote

DrW Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 In 2009, Mikhail Gorbachev released an album of love songs on occasion of the 10th anniversary of his wife, Raissa, due to leukemia. 1 1 Quote
T&C Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 This is the saddest downer album I've ever heard in my life... Curtis killed himself before it was released, it was like he wrote his own funeral. A once in 10 years listen here, if that. Quote
Bad Things Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 This great old song has been stuck in my head for the last day or two, so I thought I'd share it here. Otis Redding - That's How Strong My Love Is Quote
