DrDawkinstein Posted March 13 Posted March 13 If you're a fan of Led Zeppelin and wish they didnt start to suck in the 80s with In Through the Out Door and Coda, then you need to check out Palm Palm. They are not a LZ rip off like we've seen with some other recent bands. They just have a vibe that reminds me of them at times, and hit some familiar riffs. And lesser so here... Quote

DrW Posted March 18 Posted March 18 (edited) A while ago, we had another thread about "all-star bands". This one would certainly qualify. A rock'n'roll medley fronted by Leslie West (Mountain) and Alvin Lee (Ten Years After), with Steve Hunter and Stewart Copeland (Police) on drums. But you can also catch glimpses of Steve Howe (Yes) on acoustic guitar and some others, such as Robbie Krieger (Doors), Pete Haycock (Climax Blues Band), Ted Turner and Andy Powell (both Wishbone Ash), and Randy California (Spirit) on tambourine (they probably ran out of guitars).
