Another Fan Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Good band in their day. I'm thinking they are still not around/together 40 years later? 1 Quote
Another Fan Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Has anyone posted a song her of Hailee? I've definitely heard this song before but didn't realize it was her. It came on the 10 Spot on Sirius. I kinda like it Quote

Yeah the above was a Nesmith song, a few of his songs become lesser hits for the band although not in the league with the Neil Diamond/Boyce & Hart/Goffin & King stuff. Also a Nesmith song: Edited February 24 by Ralonzo 1 Quote
DrW Posted February 24 Posted February 24 (edited) Of all of The Beatles offspring, I would consider Sean Ono Lennon as the most talented. I love what he does with Les Claypool in the Claypoool Lennon Delirium. Less well known is the GOASTT ("the goast of a saber-tooth tiger"), the band he fronts with his girlfriend, Charlotte Kemp Muhl. I do not know if they are still active, but their older stuff is certainly worth listening to. Edited February 24 by DrW 1 Quote

Give it a listen- its got great percussion throughout, lots of choice bits for sampling, Last Poets type of poetry, and some US3 like piano sprinkled in Quote
Pete Posted February 25 Posted February 25 The Temptations started with My Girl and evolved into Funk masterpieces such as this Quote
DrW Posted February 26 Posted February 26 The Fugs - the anarchists of the 1960s. Some of them remained active. Here is Tuli Kupferberg in 1999 with his interpretation of the 10 commandments. Still, their best opus was the "nothing" song, here live in 2016. Quote
Another Fan Posted February 26 Posted February 26 cool sometimes to watch these reaction videos Quote
