One of my favorite Beatles songs, covered here very competently by one of the first all-female bands, Fanny.

I have presented this video before in this thread. However, I just learned that Fanny is still performing the song, 50+ years later. Especially June Millington on guitar (75 years at the time of the concert) still has it. They would make an awesome opening act for the next Rolling Stones tour.

For the longest time, and maybe still, this has been my favorite Beatles song.  I've had it on some bootleg album for forever, and always thought it never made a studio album haha - Apparently it was on Yellow Submarine.

The Who and The Kinks immediately kicked the ever-loving out of Beatles songs to me, so I never even much bothered listening to them more than was avoidable on radio, but I've always loved this song as a huge standout.

Do you know any more?

Another great Beatles song, "I am the walrus", here as a "heavy" cover by the Spooky Tooth. I actually prefer the cover over the original.

If our world is going to rediscover its decency, this song is always the soundtrack for it.

Buffalo Springfield is waaaay more than that song though- brutal talents- hoping this will play the rest of the album:

This classic is now almost 60 years old and approaching Social Security.  What music today will hold up in 60 years?  Nothing that I'm familiar with.
