DrW Posted December 14 Posted December 14 (edited) More "white reggae" - The Slits in their 2005-2010 incarnation, featuring Ari Up (vocals), Tessa Pollitt (bass) and Holly Cook (keyboards). Ari Up died a year later from breast cancer. According to her stepfather, John Lydon (AKA Johnny Rotten), she refused chemotherapy because she did not want to lose her dreadlocks. Ralonzo Posted December 21 Posted December 21 This arrangement is so much better than the live, the dry piano and drums on the break just pop. Pretty dark for '65, but caught my ear as it's epically cool. Quote
