ROONDOGG55 Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Can he block? Clay and Nick can, he just needs to line up in the slot like Jimmy Graham.
C.Biscuit97 Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 What if we have the best QB on the roster trying to be a backup TE? That'd be SO like the Bills.. Haha. But this is why draft hype is so dumb. Thomas was talked about being a potential 1 pick as a qb at one point in college.
The Frankish Reich Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Clay and Nick can, he just needs to line up in the slot like Jimmy Graham. Right. I think the prototype is a Julius Thomas, who as a blocker has never been more than a big obstacle to get around, but nobody cared when he was making big catches. It Logan can catch passes, they will create a hybrid position for him.

Agent 91 Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 All aboard the Logan Thomas and Walt Powell train Let's go !! Clips I have seen. Walt Powell looks like he belongs
Agent 91 Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Not according to his interview on WGR this spring. He played WR in high school, not TE. EVEN BETTER!!!! 6'6 250 with receiver ball skills. knows how to high point the ball.
Roundybout Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 His blocking was not the greatest in the goal line drills, but he was definitely serviceable. I had a front row seat to see him work, and he set a nice block keeping the edge rusher out so Williams could punch it in.

Maury Ballstein Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Beast mode Fearless runner for sure. He used to run into the pile at VT Often. Stud athlete for sure, crap qb.
aristocrat Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Runs like gronk does with the ball Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pirate Angel Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 If we can replace Clay and Eric Woods next season that would save big $$$
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 EVEN BETTER!!!! 6'6 250 with receiver ball skills. knows how to high point the ball. ....and FREIGHTLINER on the front of his helmet.......visions of this kid rumblin' down the seam is a joy....stay tuned............
