Captain Murica Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 They could easily get away from that contract after this season. Would be perfect timing to take a QB high if they have a bad year. Yeah, I'm not a fan of this idea. Here's to a speedy recovery to Ryan.
Crusher Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Doesn't even matter. Tannehill is not very good, and Moore is not much of a downgrade.
Big Turk Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/20235178/miami-dolphins-qb-ryan-tannehill-suffers-injury-awkward-fall DAVIE, Fla. -- An MRI Thursday revealed that Miami Dolphins starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill does not have a tear in his left knee after falling in practice, sources told ESPN's Jeff Darlington. The team is still discussing multiple options going forward with doctors, and it's not yet clear whether Tannehill could miss days, weeks or longer. My friend had to have ACL surgery even though he didn't have a tear...basically the ACL became too "loose" and he could basically have his knee go on him at any time even by doing basic things like walking. I'd expect Tannehill has something similar going on especially after his latest incident...either he has the surgery now or he will have it later once the ACL complete gives out on some random play.
iinii Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Speculation is if it is Serious look for Gase to call up Cutler over looking at others first.I saw Cutler two weeks ago and he looked ready for the easy booth life.
#34fan Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Is Moore a 16 game guy? Is Tanneyhill, at this point? Phish are better off with Moore... As long as Ajayi stays healthy, Moore can get them to the post-season.
ALF Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Looking at Matt Moore's past record , really light http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4535/matt-moore
eball Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 They are now saying season over. Yeah, it looks like his options are to wait 6-8 weeks and try to play again, or to have the surgery he probably should have had last season and sit out the year. I can't imagine option #1 is a viable one -- seems like just waiting for the same thing to happen again.
ALF Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 (edited) I'm surprised his knee gave out while wearing a brace. That would be a bad sign. May 25 article : Tannehill will wear a knee brace throughout the 2017 season, something he has done previously in the NFL. The brace is meant to improve his stability while not hampering his mobility. “I am going to be wearing it throughout the season so I’m comfortable and it’s just second-nature at that point,” Tannehill said. http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/armando-salguero/article152627619.html If Cutler and Kap are not a option: Osweiler and Miami coach Adam Gase have a relationship dating back to Denver. All of this sets up Cleveland perfectly to unload Osweiler to the desperate Dolphins, who want to reach the playoffs again. http://thebiglead.com/2017/08/03/the-miami-dolphins-should-trade-for-brock-osweiler-whom-adam-gase-loves-not-sign-colin-kaepernick/ Edited August 4, 2017 by ALF
Big Turk Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 (edited) It was a tweak nothing to worry about. Not true...my friend's ACL was just "loose" and the doctor told him it would actually have been better if he just tore it, because it would have been replaced a few years earlier..he had to have the same surgery as a person who tore it Edited August 4, 2017 by matter2003
Webster Guy Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Ajayi is very inconsistent and Tanny is too. Im not afraid of either one of those guys this year, especially Ajayi. We owe him a beatdown
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Is Tanneyhill, at this point? Phish are better off with Moore... As long as Ajayi stays healthy, Moore can get them to the post-season. since when do 6-10 teams make the postseason?

I think it would have been 100% by now...maybe even stronger.
Max Fischer Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Ajayi is very inconsistent and Tanny is too. Im not afraid of either one of those guys this year, especially Ajayi. We owe him a beatdown Well, last year, Ajayi consistently put up 200+ yards on the Bills. I'm very wary of him.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Well, last year, Ajayi consistently put up 200+ yards on the Bills. I'm very wary of him. He played in 15 games last year. 33% of his total yards came in the 2 Bills games.
JM57 Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Sounds like Tanny should have had the surgery last year. I think it would have been 100% by now...maybe even stronger. Agreed. Partial tears are basically a ticking time bomb if they aren't surgically repaired. Sure, you can let it heal and go back to your athletics...but it's almost guaranteed to fully tear eventually.
Max Fischer Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 (edited) He played in 15 games last year. 33% of his total yards came in the 2 Bills games. Until he doesn't put up 200 on the Bills, it doesn't seem reasonable to brush off concern. Edited August 4, 2017 by Max Fischer
RyanC883 Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Sounds like Tanny should have had the surgery last year. It seems (and I'm not a Dr.) that it is generally better to have these things taken care of ASAP.
YoloinOhio Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 @spotrac The #Dolphins can move on from Ryan Tannehill in early March for just $4.6M dead cap, putting his future in question http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/miami-dolphins/ryan-tannehill-9818/
