as much as I like Astro's write ups (your awesome) it seems this year we dont have as many camp reporters.

It is interesting to read all the reports and then contrast what everyone is saying to see if there is some kind of concensous on players

Thomas is the #3. I think it comes down to whether to keep 4 TEs or 5 RB/FBs on the roster.

I think they might keep 4 TEs. The Dennison system relies on them. But I think it might be at the expense of an extra receiver unless one really stands out in pre-season because Croom's ability to split wide makes him a versatile weapon.

Could you go:

3 QBs - TT, TJ, NP

1 FB - PDiM

3 RB - LM, MT, JW

4 TE - CC, NO'L, LT, JC

5 WR - SW, ZJ, AH, CB, BT

8 OL - CG, RI, EW, JM, JM, DD, RG, VD

?? That would be 24 on offense. Then I'm thinking 8 DL, 7 LBs, 9 DBs which is also 24. 3 Specialists gets you to 51 then maybe you even have enough space to put a 6th receiver (or 5th back) and a 6th corner back in?

Thanks for that, Doc!

Yeah, you can't park at SJF, but some people who live nearby will let you park on their lawns for $10-15. Or you can take a bus from Pittsford Mendon HS (or Sutherland HS, if you must) for $1.

Between Astro & Fairburn I'm fine. I avoid the BN & Joe B now.

Interesting that there has not been a visit by any national writer to Camp yet.

I live in Buffalo... and work days, as i imagine many of you do. It's hard to get to camp.

I even have a friend who works at fisher, it's just tough to justify taking off work to watch people practice. If they moved it to buffalo I might take a day to check it out. I always enjoyed going to fisher when i lived in rochester (and was in high school).

No problem. IMHO the bus is the best option. And my shot at Sutherland was tongue-in-cheek because I went to Pittsford Mendon HS. Actually my house growing up is on one of the streets bordering the high school. I was just there last weekend visiting my mother and going to training camp.
