Shaq Lawson said the groin injury isn't serious, they just shut him down. Sounded like it was precautionary. #Bills

Groin injuries = only one thing..... players not stretching properly.

Nobody likes to stretch........but hours and hours of offseason training goes to hell without a few minutes of stretching each day.

Dareus came into camp reportedly in his best shape in years.......doesn't stretch properly and immediately strains a groin.......and now some poor assistant trainer has to personally get all up in Dareus smellyass to go thru the stretching exercises every day.

I guess Shaq going to need his own stretch specialist now too.

Get it done McDermott......can't trust these club-Rex campers.

Sorry Baldo, this isn't accurate at all.

Strains and pulls can just happen. I've pulled a groin playing football and pulled a hamstring playing baseball. I was stretched and warm up properly. I've known several other athletes who have pulled muscles who definitely were properly stretched.

BTW, I love to stretch and stretch every day.

You should have been hired to coach.

Soft tissue injuries have always been my whipping boy.

Traditionally, the more casual the coaching staff was about stretching, the worse their incidence.

McDermott inherited a whole lotta' club-Rex players with bad habits wrt stretching.

The picture of the lil' fella in the trainers shirt all up in Dareus sweatyass the other day was hilarious but at the same time pretty pathetic that a $16M year player can't put in the time stretching himself.

You should have been hired to coach.

Not interested in a paycut to babysit millionaires........just show me the baby! :flirt:

Many of us missed our calling.

I was going to be awesome. But missed the window open

Mead should be a coach.........seems like the majority of his posts are basically about how he doesn't have to be at work that day.

Well this is just false

Couple things I noticed:

-wet weather made things slick. Noticed Zay Jones had a ball go right out of his hands, and Tre White muffed a punt.

-I really didn't notice a difference between Yates and Peterman. Both had their low points today, especially both throwing picks in the end zone.

-Tre White is really really good. Was draped all over Sammy in both drills and 11 on 11.

-Tyrod was if anything solid in the final drills. Lots of his usual sideline throws with a couple screens mixed in there.

-Speaking of screens, I noticed a lot more of those, notably Tyrod to Tolbert and Shady.

May not be a case of "cant put in the time". Back In Da Day when I did TKD (where flexibility is sought with religious fervor), partner stretching was all the thing, and hella more effective than stretching oneself.

If unfamiliar, look up proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation

I'm familiar and in favor of Pegula hiring 90 stretch boys to get these guys ready.

It's ridiculous how much money is spent on these guys and then how much leeway they are given regard to preparation.

Astro has made note that their is a greater focus on stretching now.........to HIM it's obviously been an issue in recent camps......hopefully it will pay off.

Wrt Dareus there is also a possibility that he still has residual issues from last year's groin injury. For all we know he had a tear and it's never healed properly.

Alas, I think the weather kept Astro out. Ill post a little more with some pictures tomorrow!
