Dante Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 baby blues yup, "that channel" was a hit in the mid 70s, recall it being somewhat received in cottage country Speaking of kids stuff, the woman who was the voice behind Rocky the Flying Squirrel and Natasha Fatale died at 99 last week... Yes that's it . I forgot the Baby part. I remember the cheesy music and fuzzy picture like it was yesterday.
row_33 Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Yes that's it . I forgot the Baby part. I remember the cheesy music and fuzzy picture like it was yesterday. They brought them back a decade ago on a local cable channel. Man it was easy to find satisfaction in this area back then...
Greybeard Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Other than Hockey Night in Canada, I can only remember the name of one other show, "Live It Up." Although I also remember a "60 MInutes" type show. One of the reporters from that show eventually ended up on "60 Minutes" for a short time.
row_33 Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 TV Ontario is a Canadian poor-man's version of PBS with kid's shows and stuff that nobody really watches. There has never been pro hockey or Live It Up (that was CTV) on TV Ontario

row_33 Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 That's okay, you really had to be there (and still here) to get the specificity of the channel. All conversation on here is good, watching how things evolve is half the amusement.
