These two sentences seem completely contradictory. Unless the plan is to have no idea what will happen.

The 1st tweet is contradictory and the 2nd is ridiculous.

@APMarkLong

Jaguars coach Doug Marrone plans to tell QBs about the starting plan in the hotel the night before the game

Hey, that's how he got the Bills job, so he thinks it will work for his QBs too

Bummer, another team that will go big after a QB in 2018.

Marrone does not stay with a QB he does not trust like EJ , now Bortles.

i read that... differently than you intended :lol:

No, I think that you read it EXACTLY how I intended it. I already know that he hasn't gotten any right. :) Edited by Kirby Jackson

Anyone feel sorry for Saint Doug being saddled with a team without a QB again?

Yeah, me neither.

Saint Doug is polishing his 2014 9-7 ring right now, wondering if Kyle Orton ever got his drunk texts from last night. Part of him is a little embarrassed, part of him is hopeful for a response.

Btw this really needs to be lifted out of the archive as updates await

After having been subjected to not 1, but 2, Jags preseason games, I think that Marrone is right (for a change). Bortles should never, ever throw a pass. Maybe it's the team. Maybe it's the system. Regardless, when a starting QB performs in that inept of a fashion during the preseason then you wonder how much running the team can do to mask a terrible QB.
