At some point very soon, I will be moving my sites from http: to https:. I don't know if this will have any ill-effect on browser saved passwords, so make sure you have them in case you get locked out.

If it doesn't save I'll probably have to recover it

A lot of people have trouble receiving the password recovery email that gets sent out. I assume their ISPs think it is spam and filter it out. I'd rather not field a bunch of requests from posters who need me to reset their passwords. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Everybody just paste your passwords in here for safe keeping :P

Funny but that wouldnt work. This site is smart enough to detect your password and block it out. Watch I'll type mine...

The site will only display asterisks in place of your password.

I guess my question is, is there a way to reset the password if locked out? If I log out, will it be saved.....who knows but I don't want to take the chance.

So, it looks like passwords won't be an issue. We have converted over to https, but there are some hard-coded links (to emoticons I think) that is preventing some threads from being secure.
