Guest NeckBeard Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 I'm a WNY native and spent over a decade living in both New England and the South. By far, the most heinous, racist **** I've ever heard out of peoples' mouths has been in WNY. Maybe it gets thrown around too much as an accusation, but let's not pretend it doesn't exist. Indeed, WNY is extremely racist, and it's so casual that it kind of works its way into a conversation after questions like "where do they keep the Genny?" or "does this come with cheese on it?" or "why didn't they restock the eggs at Tops?". My grandfather was the biggest racist on the planet, and was overt about it. The only other place I've been where the N-word was dropped as casually was in NC.

No doubt it exists. Personally the worst I ever heard was in my hometown (ENY). But it was in Carolina's and I'm more than willing to bet it'll be in New England's*, Green Bay's, TB's, Baltimore's, Pittsburgh's, and probably a couple of others. But never Magary's precious Vikings, whose fans probably cheered when Teddy's leg exploded and Sam Bradford came in. Edited August 9, 2017 by LeviF91
Albwan Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Your quarterback: Tyrod Taylor, who struggles to break 200 yards passing a game and yet is somehow the best QB this team has had in 987 years. If this guy’s last name had been FLUTIE, you !@#$s would have sold out his jersey a year and a half ago. Why, I simply can’t imagine why this fanbase wouldn’t fully embrace Tyrod and give him the support he could use to develop as a passer… Nice. Ya but you have to put this in perspective...is the best meal you ever had in prison truly 'good'... Please lets not compare Flutie to TT until TT wins something. We saw Flutie put the game on his back on multiple occasions and win and I have yet to see the same from TT.
jimmy10 Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 I liked the comment about how if you've ever watched your team play in the postseason on a hi-def TV, kindly STFU. That's funny right there.

By far, the most heinous, racist **** I've ever heard out of peoples' mouths has been in WNY. Maybe it gets thrown around too much as an accusation, but let's not pretend it doesn't exist. This is my experience as well. I've lived in the South for thirty five years.
Albwan Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 (edited) Let's give TT the '99 team's defense and see how many games he wins Again, Lets see him him put one game on his shoulders and win like we saw Flutie do on multiple occasions. I know people get really touchy about TT, really though we have to stop with the he doesn't have this and he doesn't have that, cmon now. Oh and "why this fanbase wouldn’t fully embrace Tyrod and give him the support he could use to develop as a passer…" Really?? the fanbase has control over this? Edited August 9, 2017 by Albwan
Don Dokken Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Coincides with me getting the Bill Simmons podcast on the 25 greatest wins of the Belichick Brady Era.... Ugh. I have never deleted anything faster in my life.
