Coach Tuesday Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Cardale was a waste of a 4th round pick that could've been used on a CB, WR or LB. He was a reach at that spot. He was worth, maybe, a 6th. That's the issue I have with this.

MAJBobby Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 @MatthewFairburn Cardale Jones reportedly cried tears of joy when Buffalo Bills traded him http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2017/07/cardale_jones_reportedly_cried_tears_of_joy_when_buffalo_bills_traded_him.html Cardale don't worry about those tear of joy, us as fans cried them as well because we got a pick for you
26CornerBlitz Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Cardale don't worry about those tear of joy, us as fans cried them as well because we got a pick for you A conditional 7th. Meh. Might turn out to be nothing at all with the Chargers essentially getting a free look at him before deciding what to do.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Cardale don't worry about those tear of joy, us as fans cried them as well because we got a pick for you I mean - it sucks that we drafted him where we did. But Beane/Mcdermott saw you in OTAs... and apparently they saw enough. If you can't complete passes with no pads on, how are you going to do in a game?
YoloinOhio Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 (edited) This is just this year's version of Zach Mettenberger for the Chargers. They need a 3rd QB who can be a project type. I don't believe he's going to be the backup if he makes the team. It will still be Clemons. Edited July 27, 2017 by YoloinOhio
#34fan Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 You just dont smooth out accuracy. You'd be surprised at what a fresh start can do.
teef Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 You'd be surprised at what a fresh start can do. it can show how bad someone is in an entirely new city!
CommonCents Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 "Hear me now and believe me later: all CJones needs is more time. Just watch what EJ does in Oakland!" That's his "should have drafted Glennon face"
#34fan Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 it can show how bad someone is in an entirely new city! Or, how horribly short-sighted the old city was.
teef Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Or, how horribly short-sighted the old city was. or, how delusion are fans are about a players ability.
#34fan Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 or, how delusion are fans are about a players ability. Or, how bad some fans are at assessing talent.
teef Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Or, how bad some fans are at assessing talent. You mean like fans that think losing Jones will come back to bite the bills? I agree.
eball Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 So is this "Cardale cried tears of joy" thing real or fake news?
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 You mean like fans that think losing Jones will come back to bite the bills? I agree. i mean... it might? But he wasn't going to get the reps he needed here. So whats the point in keeping him?
Pirate Angel Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 He was a typical Whaley quarterback....black, athletic, and bad at football
#34fan Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 You mean like fans that think losing Jones will come back to bite the bills? I agree. No, I mean like fans who think they know a QB's future when he's only taken a handful of meaningful snaps...
YoloinOhio Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 So is this "Cardale cried tears of joy" thing real or fake news?he was crying because he wanted to be somewhere he felt wanted
#34fan Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 he was crying because he wanted to be somewhere he felt wanted Perfectly understandable... He's an emotional guy.
Willyville Guy Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 As a Buckeye fan, I'm sorry to see 12Gauge go and wish it would have worked out differently for him in Buffalo. Now a new fan base can wildly speculate about whether he's a good or bad QB. No matter what, he'll always have this and the playoff run that followed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhdNQHzusKo
