MAJBobby Posted August 20, 2017 Author Posted August 20, 2017 One more year. One more year I have to watch a RB playing QB. Just one more year
Noogie75 Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 The Bills averaged 24.9 pts per game last season. With Glenn healthy then replaced by Kujo . The OL was adequate The Lynn offense fit Taylor strengths. If the Bills had last seasons O and this year's D they could have a good season imo https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/points-per-game No No No. Quit putting things in a perfect situations. He needs to adapt he is not a rookie. He was in this offense for 4 years. They gave him two seasons as the starter. There is no excuse for not hitting short passes with easy throws. No excuses, he needs to perform. His stats are decent at best. At a very best. All that off season making head lines to play like that. Look at all the rest of the young QB. Not to mention Dak. Last year's excuse no D. This year the o line. What's next? The coaches messed up now they have to stick with the hot Potato. I said it during OTAs. He was not gonna progress in this offense. He can not passss.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 One more year. One more year I have to watch a RB playing QB. Just one more year Stick to post-game analysis.
MAJBobby Posted August 20, 2017 Author Posted August 20, 2017 (edited) Stick to post-game analysis.Just one more year. There isnt many here that can tell me he is not at his ceiling and he is not improving If anything when asked to be a QB regresses. When playbook opened and asked to do what QBs at this level should do ge struggles. 2016 - It cost Greg Roman his job 2017 - It will cost Taylor his job. Edited August 20, 2017 by MAJBobby
Noogie75 Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 We should kept Cardale if you asked me. You can still groom him. But TT after 7 years Get real. He is showing us the coaches messed up.

TT has been playing to level football dating back to V Tech and he is still a giantic question mark?? At least CJ. Did not and has not lost a game he has started. Just to mention CJ is coming from a winner pedegree.

Was a HUGE HUGE HUGE project the new guys wanted no part of. Will be out of league in 2 years
FreeBird Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Ok I know there are a lot of people that love him, I also know there are a lot that want him gone. However I figured I would start a thread to see what does he have to improve in your eyes to stick with the Bills at the end of the season. I know there are some that will think there is virtually nothing he can do, but there are some that are still on the fence with him. So lets say from him as a player what do you need to see for him to stick around. I am not talking about excuses like well if Sammy stays healthy or stuff like that, I would like my QB to be effective with whoever is on the field. Some of mine are: Better anticipation on his throws, this is one reason why there is not a lot of YAC from these WRs, his throws tend to be late. This also hurts him with my third area I would like for him to improve on. Obviously using the middle of the field, In this offense Clay has a chance to shine like all Owen Daniels (Clay is much more talented) has. I would like for him to be much more effective against Man Coverage. Over the last two seasons, Taylor averages 9.3 yards per attempt against zone defenses (best), but only 7.1 yards per attempt against man coverage (fifth-worst). Just a shorty Now if TyBo was 6ft3.. he would be aka franchise maybe... simple for me.. shorty
Fadingpain Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 (edited) One more year. One more year I have to watch a RB playing QB. Just one more year Correct sir. Tyrod is average at best and filled with deficiency. Further, the team will be moving on from him next year and they will be drafting the next big hopeful at QB very high in the draft. More than that, about the QB position on this team, need not be said. Edited August 20, 2017 by Fadingpain

Not to say these make TT a good pro But he is a 3 time ACC champ, ACC player of the year and won an orange bowl
Foxx Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 One more year. One more year I have to watch a RB playing QB. Just one more year well, i don't think he is a running back either. i don't believe he could take the pounding a running back has to take in this game in order to succeed. prolly a kick/punt return specialist at best. outside shot at a DB.

Maybe teach him routes and he makes a flip like Pryor did. Late in his career though to try that
26CornerBlitz Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Maybe teach him routes and he makes a flip like Pryor did. Late in his career though to try that Don't be ridiculous. He's a serviceable, mid-tiered NFL QB.
Foxx Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 (edited) Don't be ridiculous. He's a serviceable, mid-tiered NFL QB. yep, a mid level QB that will win the occasional game against a good team but more so a QB who will lose against good teams and only beat the bad teams. keep you right about .500. they have others word for QB's like that, back up QB or coach killer. I don't care what you think he did in college. What did Tebow and Manziel do in the NFL? They were college heros. TT is a low grade starter but light years ahead of CJ. That is how bad CJ is. I cant even take you seriously anymore. You have to be a troll. Edited August 20, 2017 by Scott7975

No. Jeff George and Jay Cutler were/are coach killer QBs. Great talents with questionable attitudes with a penchant for bad decisions resulting in turnovers. Tyrod is nothing like what I know as a coach killer. His limitations are well known and he has a great team attitude with a low propensity for turning the ball over.

Coach killers are the coaches too stubborn to move away from a QB that just doesn't get it.
