Kirby Jackson Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 you are all liars. Did leave a Pelicans game early last year or the year before that they ended up winning. I was frustrated so I left after the 3rd I think. By the time I got home the game was close and they ended up winning. It seemed like a pretty exciting quarter. It's rare that I will leave before an outcome is decided and I think that stems from the Bills comeback.
hondo in seattle Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 It's pretty cool that when the title simply refers to the "Oilers game," all Bills automatically know the OP is referencing a game played 25 years ago.
TheBrownBear Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 (edited) My buddy wanted to leave at the end of the first half but I wanted to stay and applaud them at the end of the game for a nice two year run. Figured the game was over. Never expected them to come back. My alterior motive inadvertently paid off. What a game. Similar story here. My father, who always liked to leave early - even during tight games - insisted we stay to watch the "end of a great run" when my Mom and I wanted to leave after the pick six.
