If scandals were based upon unsubstantiated innuendo and an adversarial press in full-blown freak out mode, then you'd be on to something. This president offers plenty to criticize, but I think you're engaging in a bit of wishful thinking in declaring him as being "scandal ridden".

The idea of this administration running for re-election just seems absurd. Even having them still in office for the mid term elections must just be so depressing for Republicans. If the Republicans get slaughtered in the mid terms I could even see a challenger emerging for the nomination.

They are sniffing around his taxes, now he is talking presidential pardons. But, your post... Really, wow! I heard that before. Still hoping checks and balances win out. Keep hope alive Brutha! And what about my post specifically is so "wow"? It seemed pretty straightforward to me. One thing I'm starting to wonder about though - do actually understand what checks and balances are and how they work? Or is that just another cliche you've latched onto?
