Just a little fun conversation on a Saturday night..

If you could pick a franchise quarterback for this current Bills team that never won a Super Bowl in his career (yet, counts), who would it be? Imaginarily, he would be coming in as a rookie and spending his best years with Buffalo.

This would be a quarterback that you feel could have won the big one, but didn't for some reason...team around him, management, a missed field, etc.

My pick: Dan Marino! Haha

Reason: Greatest QB on my non SB list, bar none

I got the easy choice out of the way so now you guys can do the better analysis!

Breez

Brees won a Super Bowl. Doesn't that disqualify him?

Marino is my pick and I can't think of anyone else even close. But for the sake of argument, Kelly, Fouts and Moon would work too.

Marino, if you could make him hand off when it was appropriate.

Sadly, the same complaint could be made about Kelly in the SB vs Giants... :(

Give Thurman the ball and Jimbo would not be eligible for this list.

If I was forced to settle for Andrew Luck, I could live with that....

Build a team around him and I'd like to see what he could actually do.

The obvious answer is Marino, but It would of been interesting to see how Otto Graham or Johnny Unitas would of played in today's NFL.

I see all the usual expected names. I'll add Steve McNair, Donovan McNabb, and Daunte Culpepper to the list as a couple of mobile guys (ala our guy) that were also pretty good passers.
