I just think that the margin for error is so small in the NFL that you have to operate as close to perfectly as you can. The best teams aren't necessarily a bunch of games better than the teams behind them. They make less mistakes in the front office, coaching and in execution. The talent between 11-5 and 6-10 isn't much different normally. Ducasse isn't the difference in any games but it's the type of thing that they'd have been better off doing differently. As an example, I would rather Byrd and Mudge than Gary and Ducasse. It's probably the same type of money that we would be talking about. Again, it's not major stuff but with a small margin for error we need to get it right.

My opinion is that your wrong

 

A players million dollar contract on what would be probably be the backup to the backup is NOT why we are losing sir

Of course in my opinion he was only a 2nd at best When he was his best.

 

But he was one helluva player when he was on point.

I was just looking at who's still available-- and the options are mighty thin!

 

Stevie did have some real playmaking ability in his prime. And, he was a lot of fun.

....possibly vet minimum with incentives, just a wild azz guess.....bet he wants something in the range of 2+ mil guaranteed...what do you think?.....
