Bleeding Bills Blue Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Favre might be slightly overrated but he is a top 20 qb of all time. There's very little that's similar to him and Tyrod. Tyrod is Alex Smith with a stronger arm and less touch. I'm not saying they are similar as QBs, I'm saying they both did things that were both great and bad. Favre obviously did a lot more great things, than dumb things.
C.Biscuit97 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 He's got 'best dressed' on lock. Marcell's sailor hat would like to have a word with you.
Seasons1992 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 - get him on the edge with designed roll outs so he can see the receivers and dual threat take off and run This, all day. I am convinced if he rolled out more, the offense would be at least 3 points better per game, if not more.
GunnerBill Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Yeah, thats a fair assessment. I always tend to look at Oline as a unit, because its not always what a single player does... sometimes a communication breakdown can make a player look like they missed, when they in actuality were in the right place and someone else may have missed a check or something. Hard to judge. Kyle is fair though, he wasn't usually the one missing tackles. Zach Brown in the first half sure, but he was not very good in the 2nd half of the year. I agree with you on Zach for what it is worth. I think the two players on the left of our o-line are both top half dozen in the league at their position. Flat out studs.
4_kidd_4 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Marcell's sailor hat would like to have a word with you. Psh, as long as he's wearing pants with it he's not fully committed to the "Donald Duck" look. Imagine that, MD not fully committed....

I want to like Wood, but when Groy came in and we literally didn't skip a beat i wonder if he's really that talented anymore. Or maybe groy's just good?
Chandler#81 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 When healthy Sammy #1, a close second Marcel, then Shady, Richy, Cordy, Kyle, Tyrod. I'm close with you on this. I have Tyrod in a virtual tie with Kyle @ 4. Glenn @ 6 all alone.
26CornerBlitz Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 We really need training camp to get here. Only six more days.

4merper4mer Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Wait a minute. Nobody has mentioned Peterman? I thought his weak arm made him the next MontanaBrady.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 I meant Cordy and Richie. i just mean - as part of the Oline unit. I thought miller redeemed himself quite a bit last year. Mills is just a terrible pass protector.
JM2009 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Farve and the 2016 Bills = 11-5 or better team. He would have eaten defenses souls with Shady and TD Mike setting the table imo. We have diff taste in qb's. I love Farve I hope you mean Farve in his prime. Not today's Farve. And I don't know how Farve fared with below average WR corps, because that is what the Bills had most of 2016.

JM2009 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Favre is the most overrated player in the history of sports IMO. I don't know. He was fun to watch, that's for sure.
4merper4mer Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 I don't know. He was fun to watch, that's for sure. I agree with that. It's just that he was very good but with flaws that got worse as time went on and he is sold as some Babe Ruth type figure.

Bleeding Bills Blue Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 A lot of TDS, but a lot of Ints as well. I think he gets passed by brees soon, already passed by manning. Favre is no longer the all-time yard or TD guy. Is still the all-time sack/INT guy though! 3 MVPs from 95-97 is pretty awesome though.
