Yo no se
The lead singer of Lincoln park committed suicide. billsfanmiami(oh)
Always liked them, especially their old stuff. Always respected the way they seemed to run their business/brand, seemed like sharp dudes. RIP Chester
section122
I was never a fan of theirs, but its crazy to see another hanging like this so soon after Chris Cornell. Apparently he was very good friends and it is Cornell's 53rd birthday. Here is what he wrote to Cornell https://twitter.com/ChesterBe/status/865227703091208192/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nme.com%2Fnews%2Fmusic%2Fchris-cornell-chester-bennington-tribute-2073635 I just can't wrap my head around suicide. Wayne Cubed
RIP Mental illness is the biggest problem this country faces. To that point, understanding and treatment of it. Just not enough out there for people who are dealing with it.
Wooderson
Another one gone way too soon. RIP Chester. Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory was my favorite album in middle school. I listened to it probably more than all other albums combined. Although I wasn't a big fan of their more recent stuff, their first two albums were a big party of my teenage years. ExiledInIllinois
RIP Mental illness is the biggest problem this country faces. What do you think is exacerbating the mental illness problem? Was it always there in our society? Why does it seem it is getting worse? RIP
GoBills808
What do you think is exacerbating the mental illness problem? Was it always there in our society? Why does it seem it is getting worse? RIP I'm not convinced it's getting worse so much as we've expanded the definition of mental illness and the diagnosis as our understanding of it has grown. That said, I would venture a guess that our relatively sedentary lifestyles, modern diet, socioeconomic and environmental pressures, population expansion, and longer lifespans could all play a part. boyst
One of the biggest regrets of my life was right as hybrid theory was released. A co-worker invited me to a dump concert venue in Toledo. A band linkin park was there and he was pumped saying they are about to blow up.I turned down going.Linkin park is amazing I guess, in the end it didn't really matter. Captain Murica
RIP Mental illness is the biggest problem this country faces. Can you tell you as a mental health counselor of 9 years, it's definitely right there. It's even worse when combined with street drugs. I could tell you some out of this world stories. Related to the topic at hand, I was a fan of Linkin Park's music all through high school. Recently Chester was interviewed and when asked about how the fans seemed to be displeased with the new direction of the band as their sound became more pop than rock; he responded by basically calling those fans @$&holes. Curious if they weighed on him after while. He left 6 kids behind. It's a damn shame.
