MPT Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Smh. Just another qb ignored by the retread factory. Two QBs drafted in the last two years.
PromoTheRobot Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 (edited) And most make sense, certainly including this one. He didn't say that Kelly would necessarily succeed or become a franchise guy or anything like that. Just that he is talented, and particularly more so than the two Denver guys. What's the big deal about that? He was widely considered to be a very talented kid. If he didn't have his off-field baggage he might well have gone in the first. So Polian said something that, in the end, doesn't mean s##t. La-dee-frickin-da. Edited July 22, 2017 by PromoTheRobot
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Agreed. I think the same thing with Mahomes in KC. If those two are going to be NFL starters, they are both in great situations and if they fail, it's on them. Basically, it's exact opposite of what the Bills and Browns do to young qbs. The only thing the Bills and Browns "do to" young QB's is draft crappy ones.
major Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Still wish we had drafted Chad Kelly- there I said it
K D Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Still wish we had drafted Chad Kelly- there I said it He's not even going to play this year. Let's see what kind of trouble he can get into in Denver while not playing football. Mile "high" indeed
John from Riverside Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Given where he was drafted i also would have drafted him
jr1 Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 I don't deny the talent just wonder about his attitude and if his knees can handle landing in frozen temps
May Day 10 Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Head and health problems. Need to put in a mountain of work. I wouldnt bet on him
major Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 If the Broncos release Chad after training camp, I hope the bills pick him up. Release Yates and keep peterman and Kelly
PromoTheRobot Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Kelly is so talented that he's not even mentioned in stories about the Broncos QB situation.
major Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 I'm aware of that. That's why I think they release him and then he can come home to the B-LO Kelly is so talented that he's not even mentioned in stories about the Broncos QB situation.
Doc Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Some reports out now are that he'll miss the entire 2017 season.

26CornerBlitz Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I'm aware of that. That's why I think they release him and then he can come home to the B-LO Yeah, he's just the kind of high character individual that McDermott and Beane are looking to add to the team.
Saxum Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Yeah, he's just the kind of high character individual that McDermott and Beane are looking to add to the team. They need someone for staff to work on now that Sammy is traded.
K D Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I'm aware of that. That's why I think they release him and then he can come home to the B-LO He will come home to B-Lo...and live in his parents basement and get a job at Mighty Taco until his rap career takes off
Buffalo Barbarian Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Some reports out now are that he'll miss the entire 2017 season. Injuries?
HT02 Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 I read that the Broncos put Kelly on the non-football related injured reserve list, meaning he can't come back until somewhere around week six. The article also said that it was unlikely the Bronco's would bring him back this year. I haven't been able to find out what the reason he went on the list has anyone heard?

Injuries and subsequent surgeries before that draft. Not a new development.
PlayoffsPlease Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Even if Chad Kelly succeeds on the Bronco's that does not mean he would have succeeded with the Bills. The pressure on him here would be much different.
