Yo no se Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 (edited) George Romero passed away at the age of 77. Creator of some of the best zombie movies ever made. http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/movies/la-me-george-romero-20170716-story.html Edited July 17, 2017 by Yo no se
Azalin Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 I didn't see this posted, so I took the liberty. He's pretty much responsible for the 'Zombie Apocalypse' genre, even though the undead were never referred to as zombies in his films. George Romero was 77. http://variety.com/2017/film/news/george-romero-dead-dies-night-of-the-living-dead-director-1202497068/
Fixxxer Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 George A. Romero, the Night of the Living Dead director who helped turn zombies into a pop culture phenomenon, died Sunday. He was 77. A true legend of the zombie genre. RIP George.
KD in CA Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 I didn't realize zombies had their own genre. Apparently it's a enough of one to warrant two threads!

145B4IDIE Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 And all zombies gather for a moment of silence. RIP GAR,
4merper4mer Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Not as good as Heath Ledger's but I enjoyed his take on The Joker. Better than Nicholson IMO.
Chef Jim Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 I didn't realize zombies had their own genre. Apparently it's a enough of one to warrant two threads! Of course they have their own genre. Some of the best classic B horror movies are Zombie based. The recent fascination with them has kind of ruined that however.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Huge loss RIP George Little known fact, Stephen King is one of his biggest fans. Thats about the best compliment you could get working in the horror industry CBF
That's No Moon Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Did someone put a bullet in his head, you know, to be sure?
