Azalin
I didn't see this posted, so I took the liberty. He's pretty much responsible for the 'Zombie Apocalypse' genre, even though the undead were never referred to as zombies in his films. George Romero was 77. http://variety.com/2017/film/news/george-romero-dead-dies-night-of-the-living-dead-director-1202497068/

4merper4mer
Not as good as Heath Ledger's but I enjoyed his take on The Joker. Better than Nicholson IMO.

Chef Jim
I didn't realize zombies had their own genre. Apparently it's a enough of one to warrant two threads! Of course they have their own genre. Some of the best classic B horror movies are Zombie based. The recent fascination with them has kind of ruined that however.
