Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 I tend to avoid comedy, as today it seems to be about vulgarity and shock. Nothing really clever or insightful.
KermitMcDermott Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 I've watched 2 Louis CK shows and never cracked a smile
Pete Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 dane cook and amy schumer. Whomever said Mitch Hedberg needs to get a sense of humor= Mitch is one of the funniest mother!@#$ers to ever walk this planet
Deranged Rhino Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Chris Rock. Brilliant stand up, lousy comedic actor. His movies are (mostly) terrible but his stand up is outstanding. ... I think I did this wrong.
Captain_Quint Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Cant stand that Chris Hardwick guy. Nothing he says is funny, yet hes categorized as a comedian. Its mind blowing.
Philly McButterpants Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Hannibal Burris??? You're listening to the wrong bits. I find him hilarious. I'll second the votes for Carlos Mencia. I just dont "get" him. And I'll add George Lopez. He is by far the least funny "comedian" I've ever heard. And did someone REALLY say Jerry Seinfeld????
Royale with Cheese Posted July 16, 2017 Author Posted July 16, 2017 I can see where his style of humor may not be for everyone, but least funny? Sheesh. His bit on club sandwiches is terrific. How do you feel about frilly toothpicks? I'm for 'em. Then this club is formed. I used to do drugs. I still do drugs but I used to too.
Kirby Jackson Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 I went to see Chris Rock a couple of months ago and Jeff Ross, Eric Andre and Hannibal Buress opened. Jeff Ross was hilarious (as always), Chris Rock was hilarious (as always), Hannibal Buress was okay and Eric Andre absolutely bombed!! It was uncomfortable. I think that his show is funny but wow was his stand up awful!!
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 If he was that funny, he wouldn't be doing high school graduations. It was funny but one message of have fun and smoke a joint now and then might not have been a message the school wanted to hear. I used to do drugs. I still do drugs but I used to too.I say that too. I used to do drugs when I was younger. I'll let them ask if I still do.
4merper4mer Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Not all negative but: I generally like Martin Lawrence in movies but have found his stand up not up to snuff. Eddie Murphy wannabe without the insight or funniness. Just yelling. Jim Jefferies works waaaaaaayyyyyy too much politics into his act and that is disappointing because he is pretty talented. His bit on Oscar Pistorius is great. I see Helberg has mixed feelings on the board. I don't think he is bad but he is basically just a twist on Steven Wright. It is really sad how bad Amy Schumer is as a comedienne. She really seems to need clinical help and is not funny and seems to being propped up for unknown reasons.
Rico Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 He made me laugh, but not as much as this King Of Slobs page. http://blog.wfmu.org/freeform/2011/01/king-of-slobs.html
Augie Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Wanda Sykes. Not funny, and I don't give a rip what her political views are. Why do people think we care what they think? Ask anyone who knows me, I can be an idiot without her help.

Ask anyone who knows me, I can be an idiot without her help. sarah silverman was a big bernie and clinton supporter. she would post stuff on instagram that the top 1% makes billions and should be taxed more. one day she joined a credit union and was slammed apparently, she doesn't believe in paying taxes when she makes a !@#$ton. i unfollowed her unfunny ass, but her ability to tell a joke and timing is very good

Fan in San Diego Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Chris Rock is funny, has social commentary and makes fun of day to day husband and wife interactions. Will Farrell I can't stand, same character for everything he does. I just don't think he is the least bit funny.
CommonCents Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 do cumulonimbus clouds reach 30,000 ft? The hell if I know! I haven't got that high since I smoked with Marcell.
Augie Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 The hell if I know! I haven't got that high since I smoked with Marcell. Marcel knows, but he can't remember. Doesn't matter, he's gone out for donuts so we can't ask him right now....
