CanadianFan Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Cowboys are done. It's shocking, going from superbowl contenders to... well, looking up at Jets!
YoloinOhio Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 Fantasy alert @rapsheet #Cowboys RB Zeke Elliott got his TRO from the Southern District Court. The suspension is stayed for 14 days or until further proceedings.
GunnerBill Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Fantasy alert @rapsheet #Cowboys RB Zeke Elliott got his TRO from the Southern District Court. The suspension is stayed for 14 days or until further proceedings. Keep appealing Zeke..... 3 of my 4 fantasy teams are depending on you!
YoloinOhio Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 @josinaanderson Source comment via text on Ezekiel Elliott case: "Zeke won TRO-14 days or until Judge Failla rules on PI, so Zeke plays this week and next."
aristocrat Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 It’s gonna be funny when he’s suspended for a playoff game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 If the guy had just taken it he would be coming back this week and ready to go
BringBackOrton Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 It’s gonna be funny when he’s suspended for a playoff game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That's what they said about Brady...
billsfan89 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 If I were a fantasy football owner of Zeke I would have rather Zeke just take the suspension so that I could have him back for a (fantasy) playoff push. But I think this gets pushed into next season, just too many legal maneuvers for the Boys and Zeke to do.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Elliott eligible to play in Week 8 after court ruling A federal judge denied the NFL's request for an expedited preliminary injunction hearing in the Ezekiel Elliott case, ensuring the Dallas Cowboys running back will be allowed to play against the Washington Redskins this coming Sunday. U.S. District Court Judge Katherine P. Failla confirmed Monday the hearing will take place on Oct. 30 at 5 p.m. ET. If the judge does not grant the NFL Players Association and Elliott a preliminary injunction, he will be suspended again. If she does, his suspension will continue to be on hold as the case makes its way through court.
boyst Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 The new CBA needs to end **** like this. Hope he gets this enforced if they make the playoffs
JohnC Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 The new CBA needs to end **** like this. Hope he gets this enforced if they make the playoffs This is a case where most people agree that the commissioner has the authority to make a determination. I'm confident that at the end of the legal wrangling Goodell's side will prevail. However, there is a bigger issue than having the authority to make a determination without being challenged. That is the issue relating to fairness which in this case is actually immaterial to the appealing process. I don't know if Elliot is guilty or not. When you hear the evidence most fair-minded people will come to the same conclusion that the accusation has not been proved. There is something wrong when suspicions or assumptions are given more weight than the actual facts. There is absolutely nothing wrong with concluding that you don't know what happened. When that happens you shouldn't be ruled guilty. Elliot is undoubtedly immature. He may even be an insufferable jerk. But that doesn't mean that he shouldn't be given a fair hearing based on the evidence. If anyone listened to the telephone tape conversation between the victim and her girlfriend where she is boasting that she is going to make a financial killing in this sordid episode then some reasonable doubt comes into how one views what happened. The real problem isn't that Goodell has unfettered authority in his rulings so much as his judgments are very often stupendously stupid when reviewing the evidence of the cases he presides over. Being an obnoxious jerk shouldn't mean that you shouldn't be treated fairly. That's what happened here. And it's ridiculous!

26CornerBlitz Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Time to serve! Ezekiel Elliott's suspension set to start again after ruling A federal judge denied the NFL Players Association's request for a preliminary injunction in the Ezekiel Elliott case on Monday, which will reinstate the Dallas Cowboys running back's suspension.

HappyDays Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 And zeke out vs chiefs. They get lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk They are consistently the luckiest team in the league. Just look at the game tonight, never seen so many dropped passes as the Broncos dense has had.
