DMC was a top 5 rusher in the league behind that line 2 years ago.

DMC was a top 5 rusher in the league behind that line 2 years ago.i agree on where he will be picked. I had the #3 pick in my draft last year and took him, would do it again this year. But need to make sure you either take his backup at some point, or take another RB relatively high if you do take him. They predict 2-4 games.

The league champ has Zeke and AB. Hoping he lets Zeke go so I can win some fantasy loot this year, I'm to WR heavy.
Rockpile233 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 I drew the #2 pick this year. #1, barring an unforeseen issue, is going to be Bell. We still have time, but I was torn between Zeke and DJ. This makes that decision easier.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 He's like my only keeper-worthy player and i'd have to drop a 1st to keep him. So hopefully I'm picking in the tail end of the first. Bell went in the top 3 the year he had a 2 game suspension. He was having a good year until he got hurt too.
YoloinOhio Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 I might take a look at Melvin Gordon as my RB2 if I do take Zeke. Considering he had a heck of a season last year and now will be with Alynn. Last place schedule too.
H2o Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 I'd still take Elliott if Bell and Johnson are off of the board. I see him as #3 behind those two guys. A guy I think people will sleep on who will have a productive year is Paul Perkins, NY Giants. Jennings is gone and he is clearly their lead guy. I wouldn't be surprised if he put up 1,100-1,200 yards and 10 TD's.
YoloinOhio Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 @sportscenter Ezekiel Elliott received a report on an NFL investigation into a 2016 domestic violence accusation against him: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/20047210/dallas-cowboys-running-back-ezekiel-elliott-preparing-response-nfl-investigation?sf98162523=1
Blokestradamus Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Allow me to plug my pal Mocker on the fantasy football subject. He wrote this about Le'Veon Bell last year and I think the principle holds up for Zeke. Thank me later. http://rotoviz.com/2016/07/bong-hits-for-cecil-and-harambe-3-reasons-im-still-drafting-leveon-bell/?hvid=VCG4l

Yea I managed to get Bell in the late first / early in the 2nd in two leagues last year and he won me matchups single handed down the stretch. You just have to maybe be a bit more willing to take an extra RB early to back him up.
CommonCents Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 IMO we should find a way to organize a 10 team TBD league I'm not sure how you can distribute/collect the funds without involving drama though. That would be a hoot. I'd take down those two Brits we have hanging around here!

I don't need anyone else to beat me

Blokestradamus Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Ditto. I kept Coleman on the bench way to much! I had a suck year. The comment was meant lightly! We should probably re-visit the idea once preseason starts, start a thread, drum up interest. I'd be game. I mean, I'll get annihilated but I'm game.

DMC was a top 5 rusher in the league behind that line 2 years ago. Agree! Elloit is top top tier. But don't over spend for his backup. It's essentially a wasted drafted pick because both McFadden and Morris are useless on a good fantasy team, and someone in your league will take the guy too early....don't be that person. i agree on where he will be picked. I had the #3 pick in my draft last year and took him, would do it again this year. But need to make sure you either take his backup at some point, or take another RB relatively high if you do take him. They predict 2-4 games. Me too! And I won the thing It's all a crap shoot though. Luck (sometimes Andrew) is 50% of it.
frostbitmic Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 I'd still take him 2nd or 3rd overall. If he gets suspended it'll likely just be a game or two and many RB's will miss a couple during the course of the season.
YoloinOhio Posted July 17, 2017 Author Posted July 17, 2017 (edited) I will be interested to see the extent of his involvement in the bar incident. He's a regular at Social in CBus and always has two giant security guards with him http://abc6onyourside.com/news/local/espn-ezekiel-elliott-in-incident-at-dallas-bar-per-source Edited July 17, 2017 by YoloinOhio
