Jauronimo Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 JJ Watt becomes the first openly gay player in the Pro Bowl, wins comeback player of the year, and a finalist for DPOY. K. Williams cleans up his act, and gets his suspension reduced... He re-joins the team in time to help win the last six games!!!! Our record will then be 11-5, locking-down a wildcard berth! In 2018?
bigK14094 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 (edited) NFL: 1st round exit for NE The Bucs go 11-5 and make the playoffs Phillip Rivers wins ComeBack Player of the Year for the second time in his career, leading the Chargers to 10-6 and a WC spot Alex Smith is benched by Week 8 after a 2-6 start. Watson wins OROY. Bills: Darby makes his 1st ProBowl after leading the team in INT's Tyrod goes another year on the bench for our final game McCoy's last year as a Bill Philly Brown ends up our most productive WR on the team I went for big air. If Mccoy runs for 1200-1400 yards, you will see him again imho. Probowl rb's don't grow on trees....if he is still in top form....none better. Edited July 14, 2017 by bigK14094
section122 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 NFL: Patriots go undefeated and win the super bowl Cowboys and Chiefs miss the playoffs Raiders have a worse record but still win what turns out to be a weak AFC West Wentz struggles again this year and Philly freaks out (I also win my bet with Ryan L Billz) Bills: Watkins plays in 16 games Running game regresses while the passing game improves TJ Yates doesn't make it out of camp Jerry Hughes has 12+ sacks
Rocky Landing Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 (edited) NFL Bold Prediction: In week 10 on Monday Night Football, Ndamukong Suh will step on Tom Brady’s* spleen causing explosive, shotgun diarrhea on national television. A patriots* ball boy who goes by the name “The Defecator” will steal Brady’s* crap-stained jersey from the team laundry, and sell it on ebay. The sale will spur a high-profile bidding war between Kanye West, and Donald Trump Jr., who secretly hates Brady* because the senior Trump once referred to him as “the son I never had.” The entire incident will become overwhelmingly embarrassing to Brady*, and his play will fall off to the point that the ever-fickle Pats* fans* will begin chanting for Jimmy G. Bills Bold Prediction: The Bills’ 17-year playoff drought will finally end with a wildcard spot. They will win their first playoff game vs. the Pats* and “Tom Sprady*” who will throw a pick six to Kevon Seymour, intended for Chris Hogan. Belichick* will be seen openly weeping on the sideline. 8-8 Forever? Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Bills surprise and win 10 games. TT goes 3500/30/10. So many negative projections means the opposite will happen.
MPT Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 That's why it's the bold prediction thread but they are only 8:1 to win the NFC. They won 11 games last year. I think the Giants will throw the ball like crazy with Beckham, Marshall, Engram and Shepard. Their defense is going to be great. They would be downright nasty if they had any semblance of a running game.
machine gun kelly Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 What is probable is 7-9 to 9-7, but one can hope for 10 to 11 wins and final make the playoffs. I'm finally coming around to the idea as previous success from competitors does not mean a tough schedule this year. Look how hot Arizona and Carolina were two years ago, and look how they both pretty much sucked last year. Who expected the Dolphins to make the payoffs last year? Well can anyone not say we upgraded at every level in coaching? Why not the Bills this year? Billieve guys for now. If I can't have hope in the summer then why even bother being a Bills fan? So for all the eternal optimists like myself I applaud you. Anyone wants to tell me I told you so in October, no problem. I can get negative in November if we suck, but not now.
BuffaloFan68 Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Bills make playoffs T. Brady doesn't finish the season Logan Thomas throws a TD pass Bills D best in NFL & terrorize every opponent. Let's Go Buffalo !!!!!
JohnBonhamRocks Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 (edited) NFL: - Bengals win AFC North - Saints win NFC South - Lions win NFC North - Brandon Marshall and Sterling Shepard both put up as good or better stats than OBJ - Ben Roethlisberger plays his last season - Packers fire Mike McCarthy Bills: - Taylor throws for 3,400 yards, 25 TDs, and 12 INTs (and we take a QB in the 1st) - Tolbert is a decent HB2/goal line back - Jones looks like a more complete WR than Watkins - Dareus finally shows up like a No. 3 overall pick - pass coverage leaves a lot to be desired - 3 different players have TD returns Edited July 15, 2017 by JohnBonhamRocks
transplantbillsfan Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Taylor finishes with 4000 yards passing and 30 passing touchdowns. The bills win a playoff game. You said bold, right? Bold predictions are bold because they're likely to be wrong. I'm interested in trying to be right. I don't generally have bold predictions. Instead, I expect what's likely. But have fun, folks. It's an interesting idea. I'll come back and read, but I don't expect to have anything to contribute. Ever the buzzkill aren't we Thurm?
thunderingsquid Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Sammy Watkins has a huge year Ragland and Lawson both end up looking like Excellent Picks by mid season Tre White passes Darby as the number 1 corner on the team One of the vet guys nobody is really looking at ends up being a solid WR for us......like maybe Phili Jonathan WIlliams makes us forget about Mike G. This is my favorite so far.
nickrage Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Sammy finally looks like the player he was hyped to be.13 TDs 1250 yds. Resigned longterm.
Dragonborn10 Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 1. Atlanta fails to make the playoffs 2. New England loses in the divisional round of the playoffs 3. Agree - both Marvin Lewis and Mike McCarthy lose their jobs 4. Andrew Luck continues to regress - win total and INT's worse than 2016 5. Mike Glennon is replaced by week *, but John Fox still gets fired 6. Jason Whiten retires 7. Brandin Cooks has less catches and yards than 2016 8. Rex Ryan is fired or reassigned by Thanksgiving 9. Arizona does not bounce back 10. Championship games - Carolina v. Seattle; Oakland v. Pittsburgh
KellyToughII Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 I say 7-9, The Bills get a top 15 pick and combine it with KC's pick to move into the top 3 and FINALLY Get a franchise QB 1. Pittsburgh Carolina V Oakland in the SB, Oak Wins
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Christian Hackenberg, Bryce Petty and or Josh McCown have a far better season that expected and the JETS (still suck) tank fails to get them the #1 draft pick.
Kirby Jackson Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Christian Hackenberg, Bryce Petty and or Josh McCown have a far better season that expected and the JETS (still suck) tank fails to get them the #1 draft pick.I think that's pretty bold!! That may be the worst QB room that I've ever seen.
Kirby Jackson Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Eh. McCowns not that bad. He will arguably be the worst starter in the league and may very well have the worst backups as well. It's not like he's a placeholder for a young stud. Petty is awful and Sackenberg is worse.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Eh. McCowns not that bad. isn't he like 2-22 in his games since 2014?
GunnerBill Posted July 17, 2017 Author Posted July 17, 2017 isn't he like 2-22 in his games since 2014? 2-20 with the Buccs and Browns. He has started games in 9 NFL seasons. Only 1 of those 9 did he end up the right side of .500 his 3-2 record with the Bears in 2013. That is a career win - loss of 18-42. His career TD-INT ratio is 79-69.... again that is bolstered by 2013 when he went 13 TDs to 1INT. Take that year away he is 66-68.
BringBackOrton Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 isn't he like 2-22 in his games since 2014? W-L. Not a team stat in every topic that isn't about TT.
