CanadianFan
Only three NFL teams didn't make the list of most valuable sports franchises. Bengals, Lions, Bills. Bills have the WORST value of an NFL team. Far below Cleveland Browns. Pegulas paid $1.4bn for Bills. The last valuation was $1.5bn. This is their WORST investment thus far I'd have to think. https://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbadenhausen/2017/07/12/full-list-the-worlds-50-most-valuable-sports-teams-2017/#67fff5414a05

C.Biscuit97
What's the point of this? To say how grateful we should be the Pegulas for keeping the Bills in Buffalo? That they should charge more than our dirt cheap ticket pieces? Or pretend like they are some poor franchise that is only with 1.5 B?

Paulus
Something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Forbes is a magazine based on speculation, which, in Forbe's case, is wrong an more often than it should be. I'd rather get my info from TMZ. BuffaloRebound
$100m appreciation in 2 years plus probably another $50m per year in profit. Another $50m plus in relocation fees. Looks like a pretty nice place to park $1.4b. Plus a sizable amount of that $1.4b paid to Wilson estate is supposed to be re-invested in WNY. Add a new tax payer purchased stadium to the mix and I wouldn't be surprised in Buffalo didn't shoot past Cleveland net worth wise.
BillsfaninChicago
Wait why are we supposed to be laughing at the owner who kept the Bills in Buffalo and already has an appreciation of 9 figures on his investment in less than three years?

ddaryl
Who really cares about perceived value I only care about the Bills as a team. I have to laugh because in another thread there are complaints about NFL players making too much money.. But here we see why NFL players make so damn much money. If you want to lower prices for tickets and concessions then these perceived franchise values will need to reverse direction. We still have the cheapest tickets in the league... So are you happy to pay less or do you want more monetary value for the franchise ? Edited July 13, 2017 by ddaryl

SoCal Deek
What should make everyone REALLY appreciate the Pegulas is the fact that BOTH owners who moved to Los Angeles have made really, really big money in one year....and in the case of the Chargers they haven't even played a down yet! PS: That's a side note for those Bills fans who didn't understand the size of the LA market.

SoCal Deek
I only care about how this team plays on Sundays and not what their perceived value is. Using that as a metric the Bills have been essentially 'worthless' for well over a decade now! 😉
