Captain Murica Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Seriously? What is wrong with you dudes? They're all related to Mike vanderjagt
Gunsgoodtime Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 (edited) Easily one of my favorite non bills qb ever. Anyone who can watch his Snl skit coaching the kids and not laugh needs to get help. Very likeable guy, unlike Tom Brady, and a great qb Edited July 13, 2017 by Gunsgoodtime
Bray Wyatt Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 They're all related to Mike vanderjagt The liquored up kicker??

Captain Murica Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Come on, what athlete hasn't tea-bagged a trainer? This is basically how my first "serious" relationship started when I was In college.
KermitMcDermott Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Peyton's a douche. Agreed. He likes to come off as this average everyday guy but has DIVA written all over him. I was a big fan of his cartoon, though.
GunnerBill Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Basically Bills fans tend to like Peyton because they hate Brady. It's like I really dislike Rafa Nadal because I love Roger Federer. I don't really have any reason to dislike Nadal but he is a rival of a player I am an unashamed super-fan of (and was even before his first Slam win by the way... goes back to him beating Sampras at Wimbledon in 2001). Bills fans have a passionate dislike for Tom Brady so they like Peyton because he is the rival. Objectively I have never found Peyton that likeable.
Rico Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 https://www.google.com/amp/www.nydailynews.com/amp/news/national/king-peyton-manning-squeaky-clean-image-built-lies-article-1.2530395 http://www.thesimon.com/magazine/articles/fan_interference/01065_peyton_manning_loser_and_jerk.html
Blokestradamus Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Come on, what athlete hasn't tea-bagged a trainer? At least our starting LG only racially abused his.
GunnerBill Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Not really. The article Rico just posted sums it up. The article Rico posted is about reasons to not like Manning. I am talking about reasons Bills fans do like him. It's because he isn't Brady. Once you strip that superficial level away there is not much to like. That was my point. I have never liked Manning. Respect his ability? Sure. Find him likeable? Nah.
LeviF Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 https://www.google.com/amp/www.nydailynews.com/amp/news/national/king-peyton-manning-squeaky-clean-image-built-lies-article-1.2530395 Yawn. So he was a dumb kid. King (aka Talcum X) and his obvious reasoning for this article can shove it.
Rico Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Did you read it? The Mannings completely threw her under the bus to protect the Manning name. Don't forget when he would have spasms all over the place before Saturday snapped the ball. Absolutely no class and no respect for the game.
eball Posted July 13, 2017 Author Posted July 13, 2017 Don't forget when he would have spasms all over the place before Saturday snapped the ball. Absolutely no class and no respect for the game. Have you asked his teammates about that?
Saxum Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Not really. The article Rico just posted sums it up. Rico not liking him is NOT a strength of this argument.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Great stuff! I wonder how fond Peyton would have been of Bills fans in the '60's. In those days, we threw FULL beer cans at players. D-cell batteries at Brian Cox comes to mind as well. Other Dolphins refused to sit near him on the bench for fear or errant throws. ....imagine if Peyton was a Bills rook QB and started the same 3-13?....uh oh.......
BringBackOrton Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 ....imagine if Peyton was a Bills rook QB and started the same 3-13?....uh oh....... We may have actually won a Super Bowl. Don't forget when he would have spasms all over the place before Saturday snapped the ball. Absolutely no class and no respect for the game. The same Saturday who switched teams to snap the ball to him one last time before retiring? Yelling at your players is being a leader, sometimes.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 We may have actually won a Super Bowl. The same Saturday who switched teams to snap the ball to him one last time before retiring? Yelling at your players is being a leader, sometimes. ....guy just exudes the epitome of class and the utmost of respect for the game....and his performance ain't too bad either....5+ star here.....
BringBackOrton Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 (edited) Dropping your balls on a girls head and then trying to ruin her career is so classy. I agree. Imagine being so petty that a single incident at 20 years old overrides anything he does well into his 40s. Edited July 13, 2017 by jmc12290
KD in CA Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Rico and Scott have been bonding for years over their hatred of Manning. It's pretty comical.
