Wooderson Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 As I'm reading this I'm eating a salad with broccoli, celery, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, spinach, and sweet peppers in it so I'm good with most veggies. I cannot stand olives. Black, green, doesn't matter. They're disgusting.

Saxum Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 ever have halupki? cabbage next level. I think that's what he meant by pigs in a blanket.. Yes pigs in the blanket were for me opposed to the pastry wrapped sausage. Some call it "stuffed cabbage". BuffaloBud Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 I'm in the minority. Bring em on - not one that I don't care for!!!
Canadian Bills Fan Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Squash. I cant even stand the smell of it CBF
Augie Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 You'd have to do something special to get me to like a Lima bean..... Squash. I cant even stand the smell of it CBF That gets me thinking.......I enjoy roasted butternut squash quite often.
Gugny Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Beans and squash are fruit. Stay on topic or take this crap to PPP.
Gugny Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 So you're saying this is like apples and oranges? Well ... yeah. What else would I be trying to say?
Augie Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 (edited) Well ... yeah. What else would I be trying to say? Or....is it more like cauliflower and broccoli? Edited July 10, 2017 by Augie
ExiledInIllinois Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 (edited) wait...what? What are we taking about here?Just a theory, but a lot of these dislikes are engrained in us since we were young. Blindfold people, shut off their sense of smell and they might not dislike what they are eating. Myself... Peaches. I know, a fruit. Totally gross! I'd probably like them, but can't mentally get past them. Same with certain veggies. Since losing weight, I have been trying to get mentally past a lot of food I wouldn't even look @ AND it has helped me break free from my usual high calorie "go to" food. What I am saying. Most of these dislikes are mental because we have so much choice in our modern diet. Edited July 11, 2017 by ExiledInIllinois
