Direhard Fan Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I love TT. I think he gets a bad rap all the time. New coach will make a big difference. I hear a lot that next year with a great QB draft we would be really good. Nope. A rookie QB doesn't make us great. TT will impress this year and we will go 9 and 7 for sure.
3rdand12 Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 ...think Pegula has atoned for his mistakes and has spared NO expense to build a competent organization, specifically Administration/FO.....he also made a smart choice IMO with McD as his HC, green yes, but from damn good pedigree starting with legendary DC, the late Jim Johnson followed by affiliation with former Bear Rivera from the famed 46 defense/1985 SB Bears......the kid will return this defense to pre-Wrecks dismantling and Leslie will mind the store...Dennison was the right choice to design a quicker offense around TT....have NOT been this optimistic since Polian era......... The thing I see, is Pegula has somehow brought it one hell of a lot of Football experience and IQ to bolster Sean's first foray into the NFL bright Light. And it looks tailored for Taylor. My expectations are reasonable. My Hope is trending up. And yes it has been a rather long time my friend ! Many good points made throughout this thread. But for folks like Dan and some like him. This is a new and fresh start. This regime is Nothing like we have seen in decades. As mentioned also, sagely I think, is I too am excited to watch some of these players do what the do best ( Shady for one ) and then root for the young Ones to develop. Camaraderie, Teamwork, play till the whistle and till the 60 minutes have expired. That will feel good. It's a foundation building year. It will have it's bumps. But trust the process Go Bills !
White Linen Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 I truly think 8-11 wins this year. They only play 16 regular season games and there's no way 8-11 would win the division anyway.
BuffaloBaumer Posted July 17, 2017 Author Posted July 17, 2017 Now that Sammy has injured the heart on his sleeve, it could be even worse than we all thought.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Stick with 7-9 until the depth is proven to be better than it seems, and the injury bug can stay away for a change. For a franchise that is .412 since 2000, I'd say 7-9 is a very reasonable starting point...
