Another Fan Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 I'll go with North Dallas Forty and Big Fan. The later was real funny. I always liked Buffalo 66, not sure if that's considered a football related film.
LI_Bills Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Not a football movie, but the football game in M*A*S*H was pretty good.
Another Fan Posted July 2, 2017 Author Posted July 2, 2017 Same here. The Burt Reynolds one right? Lol, just wanted to be sure
Another Fan Posted July 2, 2017 Author Posted July 2, 2017 (edited) Football In The Groin Haha, you reminded me of this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyJIq_BNPME Edited July 2, 2017 by Another Fan
Bills4everNY Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 The Burt Reynolds one right? Lol, just wanted to be sureYes.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 I just saw 'remember the titans' on Tv again the other night and was reminded at how solid that movie was. Not my favorite, but very solid.
LI_Bills Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 No love for Steamin' Willie Beamon and Any Given Sunday? From a character standpoint it included story lines that rang true on ownership, coaches, aging vets, marquee players and the medical staff. And Jim Brown gave it an extra measure of credibility.
Doc Brown Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Compared to baseball movies, a great number of football movies are lacking. I'd say Friday Night Lights was the most well done and thought provoking. Rudy and Brian's Song were both great but a little too schmaltzy to take the top spot.
