Just Jack Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Where's the first down line? The constant score, yds, down? The fantasy football stats? Geez, how did people even watch this?
Chandler#81 Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 1964 1965 These are great! Thanks so much, GBID! The last time I saw the '65 game was during a PBS fund drive in '90, complete with Curt Gowdy and Al Derogodis calling the game! Great to relive these games!
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Man was Cookie Gilchrist a stud or what!!!!
Chandler#81 Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Man was Cookie Gilchrist a stud or what!!!! I was much more impressed with Sestak. He was double OR triple teamed on every single play in both games. Even when SD kept him off the stat sheet, with that much attention to #70, it's no wonder the League's best offense 6 years running scored a total of 7 points in 2 consecutive championship games.
Helpmenow Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Classics thanks for posting these. What a venue the rockpile POS I was much more impressed with Sestak. Donald jones with Murphy should watch these. He thinks Darius might have better potential than bruce. Darius isn't in the same league with sestak
Helpmenow Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 It seems everybody forget these teams. I hear Murphy on the radio never talk about the players on these teams. What a shame

Chargers: #1 rushing offense, #1 passing offense, #1 total offense. #1 rushing defense, #1 passing defense, #1 total defense. Shut out 23-0, at home. How about that for a championship game performance? Too bad the 1990s teams couldn't muster a game like that at least once.
gobillsatthebeach Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 If only we could see that in our lifetimes....Thanks for posting that was great!

hondo in seattle Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 (edited) 1964 1965 Fun stuff. Good to see highlights from a time when the Bills were respected and successful. Thanks for posting. Edited June 26, 2017 by hondo in seattle
Mike in Horseheads Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Where's the first down line? The constant score, yds, down? The fantasy football stats? Geez, how did people even watch this? You forgot the scroll and the barrage of whats coming up on TV tonight. "The Miller post game show bought to you by Miller is coming up after hte game'
Buftex Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Love this old stuff! I was born in 1965, so all the AFL Legends are before my time, but I feel like I know them as well as the 70's-1990's teams. The 21st Century Bills are kind of a blur!
