DC Tom
I agree completely. It's not that Fox has never had a bias - they very obviously have. It's the fact that they reported from the opposing point of view while acknowledging, and often representing the other side that validated their claim to being "balanced". They've explicitly stated they have bias. Murdoch has said repeatedly that he created Fox News as a conservative balance to liberally-biased media. It occasionally leads to high comedy - such as interrupting the coverage of the invasion of Iraq so Neil Cavuto could interview Murdoch about the launch of a new "conservative satellite." (Yes, that actually happened. I didn't know satellites had political leanings.) But I always considered it a point in their favor: you tune in to Fox, you know what you're getting, and they're being forthright about it...which, in a weird way, makes them easier to watch than CBS or MSNBC, since you can more easily account for and discount it. My satellite's conservative setting goes to 11.

I deleted the CNN app off my phone a week or so ago. The reason? There was something about now Trump (amazing huh) and there weee three opinion pieces regarding it. All three were anti-Trump. I'm not a Trump fan but I am a fan of opposing views.
