Best 60 minute effort from the team in a long time, maybe all year.

Now they are talking as if they just won the Cup.

I expect a let down in Edmonton; let's see if they string 2 strong games together.

I didn’t see the game last night. Lehner must have played really well. Happy for him coming back after that embarassing loss over the weekend.

Not sure if this was sarcasm, but Johnson played last night. I watched the game in 3x speed but certainly looked like a different team from it sounded like on Saturday. Amazing Dunleavy was making a big deal out of how hard they worked..you know like every other team does on a regular basis.

Yes sarcasm. Amazing how a different goaltender can change the outcome (or at least survive OT without giving up a cupcake goal).

The difference in hustle was obvious last night. Still, the Sabres play like the puck hates them. Can't string together more than a pass or two without losing it, other than on the power play.

Jack now a shade over a point per game. Very nice considering the slow start.

Think I heard on GR yesterday he is involved in something like 43% of all Sabre goals, the highest in the league. Dude is awesome.

And BTW, Harrington is a complete ass.

Can somebody please explain the math to me.  How can you have 4 points in a shutout win, yet come away with a +1?

Power Play scoring doesn't earn a +

Oh

That is indeed the case, but giving up a goal while on the PP earns those on ice a minus while scoring shothanded earns a plus.
