ALF Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 THE CHRISTIAN PULISIC BLUEPRINT How to make an American prodigy who can finally (finally!) be worthy of the world's game Pulisic, 18, is one of the best young players in the world, a key attacker for Borussia Dortmund and the most essential player for the United States men's national team heading into World Cup qualifiers against Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico on Thursday and Sunday. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2713937-the-christian-pulisic-blueprint?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial
TakeYouToTasker Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Pulisic is certainly the crown jewel right now, but the US is really starting to generate talent. John Brooks, Gyasi Zardes, Booby Wood, and DeAndre Yedlin are examples of this. Marry that to accomplished veterans like Geoff Cameron, Clint Dempsey, Fabian Johnson and Tim Howard; and you really have to like where men's soccer is headed in the US.
LewPort71 Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 June 8..8pm USA VS Trinidad and Tobaga for World Cup Qualifying FoxSports1. and Sunday June 11. USA travels to Mexico city to take on El Tri in the most brutal venue ever .
Benjamin Franklin Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 What happened to Freddie Adu? He and Brian Bosworth are golf buddies.

We still lag behind the rest of the world in overall talent, but at least we have guys who can play now. Would be great to see Altidore stay healthy and take that next step, but playing in the MLS really limits your development.
TakeYouToTasker Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 At this point in his career I think Altidore is what he is. He's not instinctive in front of the net, he's not a poacher, he's not creative enough to create his own goals. What he is, is a hold up play target man, and while he's strong in that role when he's on and partnered with more pace players and ball winners, but he needs that strong, well suited supporting cast to be effective, and he's just not consistent enough; especially against world class opposition.
GoBills808 Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Really liked how Nagbe played...solid effort. Agree on Altidore. And it's a shame because he has the physicality to dominate CONCACAF.
Blokestradamus Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 I'm still waiting on the maturation of Gedion Zelalem. I'll take him on loan at Stockport next year
RaoulDuke79 Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 (edited) Should be a fun one to watch tonight. Let's go USA. http://www.culturekiosque.com/images28/borat3.jpg Pulisic is from the next county north from me. The great Hershey Pennsylvania. Home of the Hershey bar and Hershey kiss. Benjamin Franklin Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Not a great match but the US has to always feel good taking any points out of the Azteca.
TakeYouToTasker Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 What an ugly game. Shows the gulf in class between the US and their international opponents.
