Per Josina Anderson: "I'm told WR Jeremy Maclin's decision actually came down b/w the #Ravens and the #Eagles, not the #Bills. Baltimore won."

Bills we're never in the running for Maclin, embarrassing.

Feels like we are the butt of an inside joke

Honestly, our #2 receiver will probably catch around 50 passes. Zay and Holmes are fine for our current offense.

Maclin would have been a perfect fit, it would have allowed Zay to work the slot. Now does Zay go outside and Brown in the slot or Holmes outside?

This was a rare chance to add an important piece at this point...

Last year in Denver's offense WR#2 caught 79 of 137 balls thrown to him.

Which is why at the beginning of this thread i didnt want then signing him. Save the space ans roll it into next year

You're better off finding WRs in the draft than FAs. Much cheaper and less miles. If you need WRs to prop up your qb, they aren't very good. Look at the poo WRs Brady had had besides Moss.

Denver's offense had a different qb.

Surprised leading up to this no one dug up the info that his wife was from Baltimore

Well, that is that. 200 pages for a player who signed elsewhere. Hope he doesn't think he has a better chance to win there. They will be mediocre at best. Is it on to Decker now?

All fine and good for Beane to take a long-term approach, it's the right one and I'm sure the Pegulas told him he's here to build for the future. But I suspect he'll find out in the middle of year two that he's under more pressure than he had thought. This fanbase isn't going to take two or three more years of suffering.

And what will they do?

Tonight Fat Harry's does 1/2 priced wings and they are decent by New Orleans standards. Going to do that with a few beers and Game 5. What's everyone else have planned?

Girlfriend away, either go out since it will be the last cool sports event for a while or chill out with the dogs and beers at home. I get in less trouble at home though. Love NO.
