Another Fan Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Initially I'm hoping for a coach that was nothing like Rex but Jauron kind of was. Jauron was humble and emotionless while Rex was arrogant and didn't stop talking. Both didn't really work out. Perhaps fair but firm, cautious without being conservative, and more discipline. Hoping to see a solid foundation built this year.
#34fan Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 I was VERY impressed with Adam Gase last year... Gase is a guy with vison who knows what it takes to win.. He also takes the time to instill that in his players...
cba fan Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Just do what you said you will do. Go down blazing. When asked if he will go for it on 4th down situations. That and proper game management and red flag management.
Pbomb Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Smart and aggressive.i concur. Fixing the little things will also help, like fielding 11 players, less confusion, and better clock management
Bill_with_it Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 (edited) Hold his players accountable, teach them with a passion that instills them wanting to learn, teach them that not a single one of them is more important than the team, and lead the franchise to the playoffs and beyond(maybe this year or future). Foxx Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 having a team that knows the fundamentals would be nice for starters . watching players that know how to tackle would be an immense improvement. fundamental coaching aspects, like understanding play clock management. give me the fundamentals first and when you have proven you have those down and they are extemporaneous, we will move on to more complex matters. like knowing when to call for a replay review, whether to punt or not on the opponents 40 in a 4th and 2 situation, timeout managment... things like that.

Basic fundamental taught and executed is a sound foundation!
John from Riverside Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Run a camp that actually has the players ready to start the season Be firm when stressing tackling basics......if you get your hands on someone in a tackle....they should NEVER get away from you because you tried to lay a big hit and missed Stress the importance of not committing stupid penalties on both sides of the ball Stuff like that
ganesh Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Get them to play defense...This team could have made the playoffs the last few years if the defense could have come to the party. In spite of injuries at the WR and TE position, the Bills offense still had a lot of things going good with McCoy and Taylor. Stop shooting ourselves with stupid penalties. Rex Ryan's team was one of the worst penalized teams in the NFL...
atlbillsfan1975 Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Emmotional and under control. Has the respect of his players because he can make the right judgement call while also being passionate. That's a coach I'd want to play for.
dayman Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 (edited) It would be nice to have 11 players on the field for critical plays. To not see guys running on the field at the last moment. To not challenge ridiculous plays. To not have Dareus drop into zone. To not waste timeouts because we are not organized. To not give incoherent explanations when asked if there is a particular person responsible for a given bit of hilarious dysfunction. To not explain that Brady passing is cheating. And generally, to just appear somewhat professional whether we win or lose. Edited May 30, 2017 by dayman
Original Byrd Man Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 successful Amen! Don't care how they get there. Just Do It!
Baba Booey Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 I know we all want wins, and I'm hoping they will come. But really just give me disciplined, hard nosed football. And each week show improvement and I will be happy this year.
