From his statement when it happened: "an "unexpected reaction" to prescription medication.".............Actually, mixing those 5, I think his reaction would be expected.

The PGA is always the joke major, and it would be only the serious fan who could care about that final round leaderboard.

No Tiger, no audience.

@darrenrovell

Masters: Worst ratings since '04 U.S. Open: 2nd worst ratings ever British Open: Final round lost to Brickyard 400 PGA: Lowest since '08

Yep -- Tiger was polarizing...you either wanted to watch history in the making or were rooting fervently against him.

In today's PGA everyone is so GD nice...all of the players supporting each other, rooting for each other. There are no rivalries, no compelling stories. And Phil had a crappy year too.

I still watch the majors (and an occasional Sunday round in other tournaments) because I love golf, but I completely understand why casual fans aren't tuning in.

Interesting. Tiger's a medical marijuana user? The article said he had 5 prescription drugs in his system, one of which was THC. I wonder if he really does have a perscription.

5 drugs in his system and you're wondering if the weed is the one he has a prescription for? Well seeing it's not yet medically legal in FL the answer would be no.

Just thought the wording of the article was interesting

I don't see him ever coming back.

Golf is a young mans game.

He can have the honorary first drive tee for the Masters and US Open till he dies.
