With nothing suspicious about his death that's way too young to go naturally.

 

the fact that he was grossly over weight and lived a hard life in the NFL (who knows what they were pumping into these guys) I don't think its that crazy for him to die at 48. He was not your average 48 YO.

RIP'prayer to a GREAT player.

 

I wonder if anyone has done studies on life expectency of ex-NFLers.

I wouldn't be surprised if the LE for linemen(esp black) is quite low.

I notice Bruce has slimmed down considerably(235ish?) Wise.

he was a massive guy. Even without football he would have never seen 60 in most cases.

 

But he was a hell of a player. Rip
