K D Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 I think Zay's boo boo is a lot of nothing. that's what they said about Ragland
Nanker Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Why haven't they released his MRI results yet? COVERUP!
thebandit27 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 that's what they said about Ragland For the 2nd time in this thread: no, it isn't.
Steve Billieve Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Maybe the Bills are cursed. Too many good things happening of late. Can't have that continue. the only good thing that can happen is winning . . .
K D Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 For the 2nd time in this thread: no, it isn't. yes i remember watching the press conference. nobody touched him so it's no big deal they said, probably just a sprain
thebandit27 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 yes i remember watching the press conference. nobody touched him so it's no big deal they said, probably just a sprain Then you are remembering incorrectly: http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/bills-very-concerned-about-rookie-reggie-raglands-non-contact-knee-injury-080516?cmpid=feed:-sports-Yardbarker
26CornerBlitz Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 yes i remember watching the press conference. nobody touched him so it's no big deal they said, probably just a sprain They were hoping, but certainly didn't know anything until they got the MRI results.
Roundybout Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 yes i remember watching the press conference. nobody touched him so it's no big deal they said, probably just a sprain we knew Reggie was much worse.
K D Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Then you are remembering incorrectly: http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/bills-very-concerned-about-rookie-reggie-raglands-non-contact-knee-injury-080516?cmpid=feed:-sports-Yardbarker you can link all you want, i watched the press conference live minutes after it happened and they reported it didn't appear to be ligament damage. get the press conference footage from Aug 5, 2016 and you will see
IgotBILLStopay Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 The Bills were not really drafting a #2 WR at 37. They were drafting a Sammy replacement - perfect down to injury issues

I'm very concerned. You are remembering incorrectly; it's nothing to be ashamed about.
IgotBILLStopay Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Any updates on the grade of the sprain (I,II or III)? MRI?
CommonCents Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 The Bills were not really drafting a #2 WR at 37. They were drafting a Sammy replacement - perfect down to injury issues What the... Rex's exact quote is in the article: we think he avoided nerve damage, but we don't know. I'm very concerned. You are remembering incorrectly; it's nothing to be ashamed about. Exactly right. There was a bunch of concern because it was a non contact injury and everyone feared the worst. I remember people trying to find a video of it shortly after it happened.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 How many years are we away from just watching film and developing timing with some VR training system? Can we just skip to the point where we never actually practice? Maybe we can occasionally have a healthy team.
baskingridgebillsfan Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Sal MaioranaVerified account @salmaiorana 1h1 hour agoMore This one cracked me up, and it should you, too. TE Charles Clay had today off for rest/maintenance. They’ve had 2 practices. It’s May 18. welp. that kind of sums of the state of his body. and another bites the dust. gonna get you too. lets hope for the best but we should always expect the worse
zow2 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 (edited) welp. that kind of sums of the state of his body. and another bites the dust. gonna get you too. lets hope for the best but we should always expect the worse Maybe this is a new, smart strategy for the Bills, kind of like what NHL teams do. We always say let's wrap Sammy in bubble wrap until the season starts. So here ya go. Maintenance days may be the norm. Edited May 18, 2017 by zow2
John from Riverside Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 that's what they said about Ragland To be fair....they did NOT really say it was about nothing....and nobody acted like it was nothing he sure the hell was not "day to day"
JM2009 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 welp. that kind of sums of the state of his body. and another bites the dust. gonna get you too. lets hope for the best but we should always expect the worse Sadly this is true.

You are remembering incorrectly; it's nothing to be ashamed about. you are linking to news that came out after the fact. if you get your news from a newspaper then you are a day late and a dollar short. as the news was coming out on tv and social media everyone said it was non contact no sign of ligament damage but MRI to be sure. then later on they examined him more closely and saw that it might be more serious but they still didn't know. then the next day they saw mri and knew it was more serious so they got a second opinion then he had surgery. initial reports were no ligament damage, non-contact injury, mri to be certain

Still a sprain this week. Week to week injury like EJs in 2013. Assuming the MRI already took place if it was necessary.
